Si Dieu le veut

Si Dieu le veut offers a fresh perspective on Quebec's cultural past by blending documentary theatre, personal recollections, and social insight.

Actor Stéphane E. Roy revisits the memory of his devout grandmother, who revealed a surprising side of herself during Sunday morning wrestling matches. Through encounters with vivid characters like Father Francoeur, a kind-hearted nun, and the unforgettable Marie-Ange, the show examines the unexpected ties between faith and the beloved world of wrestling.

Mixing emotion, humour, and historical reflection, this unique production invites audiences to revisit a time when belief alone could spark something extraordinary.
