Slava's Snowshow

Slava’s Snowshow is a legendary stage production created by Russian artist Slava Polunin, one of the world’s most celebrated masters of visual clowning and theatrical poetry. Since its debut in the 1990s, the show has become an international phenomenon, praised for its ability to captivate both children and adults. Mixing mime, clowning, visual illusions, delicate acrobatics and dreamlike scenography, the show transforms the stage into a whimsical universe filled with humour, tenderness and wonder. Its characters evoke the timeless tradition of classic clowns, reimagined through a modern, emotional and universal language.

On stage, Slava’s Snowshow unfolds through a series of breathtaking visual scenes: massive snowstorms engulfing the room, floating soap bubbles, giant spiderwebs cast over the audience, atmospheric lighting and haunting music. The result is an immersive world where imagination becomes physical. The show’s strength lies in its intentional simplicity, its universal poetry and its ability to reconnect each viewer with childhood, vulnerability and awe. The performers move between absurd humour, softness, joyful chaos and moments of pure beauty.

Experiencing Slava’s Snowshow is choosing to witness a rare theatrical moment where magic emerges not from text or technology, but from mastery of movement and emotion.
