Solids

Solids, the Montreal noise rock duo, promises an evening of remarkable sonic intensity, proving that it takes no more than two musicians to create a captivating wall of sound.

Formed in 2010 by Jonathan Robert on guitar and vocals, and Louis Guillemette on drums, Solids quickly carved out their niche in both the Quebec and international underground scenes. Their music is an explosive fusion of 90s grunge, abrasive punk rock, and melodic indie rock, characterized by heavy, distorted riffs, powerful drumming, and catchy melodies that deliver a surprisingly massive sound.

With their acclaimed debut album, "Blame Confusion" (2014), and their sophomore effort, "Else" (2016), the band has shown continuous evolution, refining their sound while retaining their raw energy. Having shared stages with genre giants and toured extensively worldwide, Solids is renowned for their unbridled live performances. Prepare to be swept away by a torrent of sound!
