A Montreal singer-songwriter of Italian heritage, Nicholas Beacon Di Blasio, his given name, stands out through a direct approach and an active presence on social media. He shared his early songs online and developed an authentic connection with his audience, particularly on TikTok and Instagram. His work favours simple, accessible writing, carried by a down-to-earth personality and effective hooks.

Statzz first drew wide attention with Belle, a song that went viral on TikTok. The track has passed seven million streams and earned him a gold record. He confirmed that breakthrough with Comme avant, which topped Quebec radio and surpassed two million streams. His debut album, 1ère Classe, has exceeded eight million streams and includes Laisse-moi, Broke, Anabella, Woah, Stop, and Sua Job. He has also collaborated with Loud, Rymz, and Zagata. His second album, Westfalia, presents a more personal side of his writing while continuing his work with catchy melodies. With songs such as Comment te dire, Tes voeux, Dernière fois, Noël Encore, and Bye Bye, Statzz continues his rise in French-language Quebec pop.
