Temples

Temples are coming near you with a catalogue of English psychedelic rock where shimmering guitars, organ textures and pop melodies meet.

Hailing from Kettering, England, the group brings together James Bagshaw, Tom Walmsley, Adam Smith and Rens Ottink. Temples first drew attention with Shelter Song, then with Sun Structures, their 2014 debut album on Heavenly Recordings. The record reached number 7 on the UK Albums Chart and number 1 on the UK's Official Record Store Chart.

With Volcano in 2017 and Hot Motion in 2019, Temples continued to expand a songwriting approach rooted in psychedelic references. Tracks including Certainty, Strange or Be Forgotten and Hot Motion trace that evolution through analogue textures and memorable hooks. The band then released its fourth album, Exotico, in 2023. Produced by Sean Ono Lennon and mixed by Dave Fridmann, the 16 track album includes Gamma Rays, Cicada and Afterlife.

From their early UK chart success to Exotico, Temples have built a lasting place in contemporary psychedelic rock through a precise and distinctive sonic identity and a cohesive discography.
