The Garden is coming to a venue near you with a fearless blend of experimental rock, punk, electronic music, post-punk, and noise rock. Formed in 2011 in Orange, California, the duo consists of twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears. From the very beginning, The Garden has stood apart through its unconventional approach to music and art. The brothers describe their creative philosophy as Vada Vada, a concept that embraces complete freedom of expression without boundaries or traditional genre limitations. This philosophy has become the foundation of both their music and their distinctive visual identity.
The duo released its debut album, The Life and Times of a Paperclip, in 2013 before achieving wider recognition with Haha (2015), its first album following a signing with Epitaph Records. The Garden continued to expand its sound through acclaimed releases including Mirror Might Steal Your Charm (2018), Kiss My Super Bowl Ring (2020), and Horseshit on Route 66 (2022). Among the band's best-known songs are All Smiles Over Here :), Call This # Now, Thy Mission, featuring Mac DeMarco, Clay, AMPM Truck, and Haunted House on Zillow. Their music is known for combining energetic punk rhythms with electronic textures, industrial influences, and unexpected stylistic shifts.
Outside the band, Wyatt Shears records solo music under the name Enjoy, while Fletcher Shears releases material as Puzzle. Both brothers have also worked as fashion models for internationally recognized luxury brands while maintaining their prolific musical careers. The Garden has toured extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania and has appeared at major festivals including Coachella. Their uncompromising creativity and refusal to fit within conventional genres have made them one of the most distinctive and influential acts in modern experimental rock.
With its boundary-pushing sound, relentless creativity, and unmistakable artistic vision, The Garden continues to captivate fans of alternative and experimental music around the world. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
