Tinariwen will perform at L'Olympia in Montreal on July 30, 2024.

Tinariwen is a collective of Tuareg musicians from the Sahara region of northern Mali. Founded in 1979 by Ibrahim Ag Alhabib, the group is considered a pioneer of "desert blues", blending traditional Tuareg and African music with Western rock. Their guitar-based style has won them international recognition and several awards, including a Grammy in 2012 for the album "Tassili".
