Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Stampede is an iconic annual festival, known as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth," held every summer at Stampede Park, located in southeast downtown Calgary.

This ten-day event combines rodeo, concerts, agricultural exhibitions, a midway, chuckwagon races, street shows and more, attracting over one million visitors each year. Stampede Park stretches from 12th Avenue SE to 25th Avenue SE along Macleod Trail, just outside Calgary's downtown core.

As a symbol of Western heritage and Canadian festive spirit, the Calgary Stampede is a major cultural and community gathering that defines summer life in the city of Calgary.
