The Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal, located in Montreal, is a dynamic cultural centre offering a rich and varied program.
It offers music, dance, theatre, circus arts performances and visual arts exhibitions, reflecting the artistic vitality of the neighbourhood.
With a 114-seat performance hall and an exhibition hall, it hosts more than 125 performances and some twenty exhibitions each year, attracting approximately 20,000 visitors.
Inaugurated in 1984, the Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal is housed in the former Saint-Basile boarding school, a historic building built in 1895-1896. It is known for its community involvement and support for local artists.
