Max Bell Theatre

Located in the southeast corner of Arts Commons, the traditional style of the Max Bell Theatre exudes elegance and is home to one of Calgary’s premier theater companies, Theater Calgary.

With a seating capacity of 750, the Max Bell Theatre has wrap-around seating on three levels and is versatile with its adjustable seating and staging functions.

In 2016, the Max Bell Theatre made several renovations: the seats were replaced, the venue repainted, and the cinema's audio systems went from analog to digital.

Today, they remain at the top of the industry standard for theaters in Canada.
