The State Farm Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Glendale, in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Arizona.
Opened in 2006 as the University of Phoenix Stadium, it was renamed State Farm Stadium in 2018. It is best known as the home of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). With a seating capacity of about 63,400, expandable to over 72,000 for major events, the stadium also hosts the Super Bowl, college football games, large-scale concerts, and other major sporting events.
State Farm Stadium is famous for its innovative architecture, including a retractable roof and a movable natural grass playing field that can be rolled outside to benefit from Arizona's sunny climate. These features make it one of the most modern and versatile stadiums in North America.
