Studio Jean-Valcourt du Conservatoire

The Studio Jean Valcourt is a versatile black box creative space located at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique de Montréal.

This adaptable studio supports various seating and staging layouts such as proscenium, in the round, face to face or cabaret setups thanks to an overhead lighting grid and a German style surround with seating installed on raised platforms. With a capacity of 80, it is designed for theatre and dance disciplines, providing the flexibility needed to foster creativity and artistic expression.
