Tangente

The Salle Tangente is a performance venue located on President-Kennedy Avenue in Montreal, in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, near Bleury Street.

Dedicated to contemporary dance, Tangente is recognized as one of the main stages for emerging and independent artists. With a seating capacity of approximately 120, the venue provides an intimate setting that encourages experimentation and closeness between audiences and performers.

For more than forty years, Tangente has supported innovative choreographic creation and contributed to the growth of Montreal's artistic scene. Its mission is to foster dialogue between artists and the community through a rich and diverse program.
