The Carlu
The Carlu is a landmark event space located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario.
Opened in 1930 and designated a National Historic Site of Canada, it occupies the former upper floor of the Eaton’s College Street building. This Art Deco masterpiece, designed by French architect Jacques Carlu, was restored and reopened in 2003 after several years of closure. With a flexible capacity of up to 1,200 people, The Carlu is now a prestigious venue for galas, weddings, concerts, conferences and corporate events.
The venue features several elegant rooms, including the Auditorium, the Sky Room and the Round Room, each offering a refined design and unique atmosphere. Renowned for its history, architecture and premium service, The Carlu remains one of Toronto’s most iconic addresses for major events.
