Théâtre Mai

The MAI Theatre (Montréal, arts interculturels) is a multidisciplinary creation and presentation venue located in Montreal’s Milton Parc neighbourhood.

Opened in 1999, it is dedicated to fostering cultural encounters and showcasing innovative works in dance, theatre, performance, visual arts and spoken word. With a capacity of approximately 150 seats, the venue offers an intimate atmosphere that encourages interaction between artists and audiences.

MAI actively supports artists from diverse cultural, linguistic and artistic backgrounds through residencies, workshops and professional mentorship. It stands out for its commitment to inclusion, diversity and intercultural dialogue. Its annual programming reflects the richness and variety of contemporary artistic expression.
