Veranda

Veranda is a bluegrass and country-folk band based in Montreal, formed in 2018 by actress Catherine-Audrey Lachapelle and multi-instrumentalist Léandre Joly-Pelletier.

Their music skillfully blends the simplicity of old-time country with the virtuosity of bluegrass, delivering rich harmonies and melodies filled with nostalgia. Their debut album, Yodel Bleu, was praised for its authenticity and infectious energy, while their latest release, Là-bas, delves into themes of travel and returning to one's roots with renewed sensitivity. On stage, Veranda offers performances that are both festive and touching, where banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and guitar intertwine to create a warm and engaging atmosphere.
