Visages

Visages, the new creation by Alexia Bürger, transports us to the fascinating edge of reality and imagination. This choral and poetic work explores our complex relationship with the face, that revealing mirror of our humanity. Through unusual stories, the play weaves a captivating narrative web around characters confronting their own reflection.

We discover the fate of a Vladimir Putin lookalike trapped by his resemblance, a young woman seeing the devil in every face, and an older woman whose face becomes transparent, finding unexpected freedom in invisibility. More than a collection of stories, Visages is a philosophical reflection on how we are perceived: are we a mask or a mirror?
