Yaelokre

Yaelokre is coming to a venue near you with a captivating musical world where folk music, storytelling, and illustration come together to create a truly distinctive artistic experience. Created by Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Keath Ósk, Yaelokre is a narrative music project built around fictional characters, fairy tale-inspired stories, and an intricately crafted visual universe. Launched in 2024, the project quickly gained international attention through its unique artistic identity, combining original music with illustrations and immersive storytelling. This creative vision has helped Yaelokre build a dedicated global audience across digital platforms.

The debut EP, Hayfields, introduced listeners to Yaelokre's enchanting world and featured the viral song Harpy Hare, which reached the Billboard TikTok Top 50 and Spotify's Global Viral Songs chart. Other notable releases include And the Hound, Hartebeest, Neath the Grove Is a Heart, My Farewells to the Fields, and Kid & Leveret. Rather than simply presenting standalone songs, Yaelokre's music develops the fictional setting of Meadowlark, where each composition expands an ongoing narrative through poetic lyrics, folk-inspired melodies, and imaginative characters.

Live performances extend this storytelling through theatrical staging, Renaissance-inspired costumes, and animal-themed masks representing the characters within the project. Keath Ósk performs in character, blending expressive vocals with acoustic folk instrumentation to immerse audiences in the world of Meadowlark. This combination of music, visual art, and narrative has established Yaelokre as one of the most original emerging folk projects of recent years, attracting listeners who appreciate concept-driven music and imaginative world-building.

With its imaginative storytelling, viral success, and seamless fusion of folk music, illustration, and fantasy, Yaelokre continues to captivate audiences around the world. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
