Zéa Calla

Zéa Calla is coming near you with intense, theatrical and deeply confessional electronic pop.

A singer-songwriter, producer and poet from Rimouski, she creates a distinctive universe where lo-fi textures, synthesizers, percussion and theremin meet direct and socially engaged writing. She is also a member of the duo La Fièvre.

Her first solo EP, Le monde brûle, mais moi aussi, features five alternative pop tracks centred on lyrics and electronic sounds. Her EP Lucien later received the Indie Pop EP of the Year award at the GAMIQ.

Zéa Calla continues her journey with her debut album, Où vont les rêves quand on les abandonne? The project explores ghosts, scars and the imperfect transformations that shape a person. Songs such as Bélier and Fol-Phoenix reflect her free, sensitive and radically honest creative approach.

Fans of daring Quebec pop can discover a multidisciplinary artist who turns vulnerability, anger and imagination into bold music with a strong identity.
