+++ Crosses is coming to a city near you with an American musical project formed by Chino Moreno, lead singer of Deftones, and musician and producer Shaun Lopez of the band Far. Originally launched in 2011, Crosses is known for blending alternative rock, electronic music, synthpop, and post-rock into a distinct atmospheric and minimalist sound that differs from the members' primary projects. The act is often stylized as +++ and is recognized for its dark electronic textures and stripped-down compositions.
The project released its self-titled debut EP Crosses (†††) in 2011, followed by additional releases that helped establish its unique identity within the alternative music scene. In 2014, Crosses issued a second EP featuring tracks such as This Is a Trick and The Epilogue, further solidifying its presence in the genre. After a period of inactivity, the project returned with the 2023 album Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete., marking a new creative chapter. The album includes songs such as Invisible Hand, Big Youth, and Ghost Ride, showcasing a more refined and experimental direction.
Crosses is widely recognized for its ability to merge electronic and rock elements into a cohesive and immersive sound that appeals to fans of both alternative rock and experimental music. The project remains an important part of its members' artistic output and continues to hold a notable place in contemporary alternative music.
