adieu narcisse

Adieu Narcisse is coming to a venue near you with an artistic project that blurs the boundaries between alternative pop, rock, electronic music, and performance art. Created by Quebec singer-songwriter Jorie Pedneault, formerly known under the stage name Narcisse, Adieu Narcisse represents a new creative chapter that began in 2023. After gaining recognition as Narcisse, including a notable appearance at the 2020 Francouvertes competition, Pedneault reimagined the project through a more immersive artistic vision in which music, staging, movement, and visual storytelling work together. This evolution reflects an ongoing exploration of identity, transformation, and self-determination through a distinctive and emotionally resonant aesthetic.

The Adieu Narcisse catalogue includes songs such as la conclusion existe déjà, Peur de Mourir, Frontières, and Jamais. These releases combine introspective songwriting with arrangements that blend synthesizers, guitars, and electronic textures into a contemporary alternative sound. Throughout the project, themes of personal transformation, vulnerability, relationships, and authenticity remain central, while the music maintains a balance between experimental ambition and memorable melodies. Pedneault's work is also closely associated with LGBTQ+ perspectives, which continue to inform the project's artistic identity and storytelling.

On stage, Adieu Narcisse offers an experience that extends beyond a traditional concert by incorporating theatrical elements, choreography, and visual art into immersive live performances. Each song becomes part of a broader narrative that invites audiences into the project's evolving creative world. This multidisciplinary approach has helped distinguish Adieu Narcisse within Quebec's contemporary music scene and has led to appearances at festivals and showcase events, including Coup de cœur francophone. The transformation from Narcisse to Adieu Narcisse reflects a continued commitment to artistic growth and innovation.

With its immersive performances, introspective songwriting, and bold fusion of alternative pop, rock, and performance art, Adieu Narcisse continues to stand out as one of Quebec's most original emerging musical projects. Get your tickets now at Tickets.ca.
