Aeli-G

Aeli-G is coming to a venue near you with a vibrant musical style that blends Afrobeat, Afropop, R&B, reggae, and contemporary pop into a fresh and distinctive sound. Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and now based in Canada, the singer-songwriter, whose birth name is Mugisho Munganga, has been performing since his teenage years while developing an artistic identity rooted in both his African heritage and his Canadian experience. After emerging on the music scene in Saskatoon, where he participated several times in the Nouvelle Scène competition, Aeli-G continued refining his craft by creating music that bridges cultures and generations. Rather than limiting himself to a single genre, he embraces a fusion of influences that reflects his goal of making universally accessible music.

His growing catalogue includes a series of singles and an EP that showcase his melodic songwriting and contemporary Afro-inspired rhythms. Notable releases include Van Damme, Tete, Enjoy, Feel Alive, Dumi, BODY, Je T'aime, Understand, and the EP Advanture. Throughout these recordings, Aeli-G explores themes of love, relationships, confidence, and personal growth while combining Afrobeat grooves with R&B melodies and modern pop production. This versatile approach has helped him connect with audiences in Canada and beyond.

In 2023, Aeli-G performed as part of the Festival International Nuits d'Afrique in Montreal, appearing both in the festival's official programming and at the Cabaret acoustique held at the legendary Club Balattou. These performances introduced his music to a broader audience and reinforced his position as one of the emerging Afro-Canadian artists to watch. With his Congolese roots, genre-crossing creativity, and commitment to sharing contemporary African music with diverse audiences, Aeli-G continues to build a promising career while expanding the reach of his unique musical vision.
