Alan Braufman

Alan Braufman takes the stage with a dynamic and unrestrained performance rooted in spiritual jazz and the raw energy of 1970s New York.

The American saxophonist and composer made his mark with the cult classic Valley of Search, emerging as a unique voice in the avant-garde jazz scene. After years away from recording, he returned with powerful new works that revive the spirit and urgency of his early sound. Braufman’s music blends free improvisation, modal grooves, and a deep sense of spiritual exploration, offering a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary. His live shows are intense, immersive, and emotionally charged.
