Cave In

Cave In is coming near you with a career that has established the band as one of the most influential forces in American post hardcore and experimental metal. Formed in Methuen, Massachusetts, in 1995, the band currently consists of Stephen Brodsky, Adam McGrath, John-Robert Conners and Nate Newton. From its earliest recordings, Cave In has blended metalcore, post hardcore, progressive rock, space rock and alternative rock into a distinctive sound that has influenced generations of musicians.

After releasing several demos and EPs, Cave In issued its debut album, Until Your Heart Stops, in 1998. The band expanded its musical direction with Jupiter in 2000, a critically acclaimed album that embraced a more melodic and progressive approach. It followed with Antenna in 2003, Perfect Pitch Black in 2005, White Silence in 2011, Final Transmission in 2019 and Heavy Pendulum in 2022. Its catalogue includes notable songs such as Big Riff, Anchor, Inspire, Stained Silver, Crossbearer and New Reality.

Throughout its career, Cave In has toured alongside many prominent rock and metal acts while earning recognition for its lasting influence on post hardcore and progressive metal. In 2018, the band experienced the loss of longtime bassist Caleb Scofield, who had been a member since 1998. Released the following year, Final Transmission incorporates Scofield's final musical contributions and serves as a tribute to his artistic legacy.

With a critically acclaimed catalogue, a continually evolving sound and a lasting impact on contemporary heavy music, Cave In remains one of the defining bands of the independent rock and metal scene. Buy your tickets on Tickets.ca now and follow the next chapter of Cave In's career.
