Chances

Chances is a Montreal-based trio featuring singers Chloé Lacasse and Geneviève Toupin alongside drummer Sheila Hannigan. This innovative project blends ethereal vocal harmonies with organic percussion and bold electronic textures. Drawing inspiration from alternative pop and modern folk, the group establishes a rich sonic identity that defies traditional genre boundaries. Their creative chemistry shines through original compositions led by three distinct voices that unite to form a powerful, nuanced whole.

The live experience immerses the audience in an atmosphere that is both intimate and expansive. On stage, the voices intertwine with surgical precision, supported by hypnotic rhythms that resonate throughout the venue. The group focuses on a minimalist yet impactful instrumentation, where every drumbeat highlights the vulnerability and strength of the melodies. Spectators are transported into a dreamlike universe where vocal performance becomes a true instrument of raw emotional connection.

Attending a show by this collective means treating yourself to a moment of pure artistic integrity. Each performance is an invitation to explore a complex soundscape marked by moments of contemplative softness and electrifying surges of energy. The rarity of their musical proposition transforms every encounter into a precious memory for fans of authentic discoveries.
