Chaos Wasteland

Chaos Wasteland is coming near you with a career that has quickly earned the band recognition among fans of Canadian thrash and black thrash metal. Formed in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, in 2019, the band combines the speed and aggression of classic 1980s thrash metal with black metal influences. Its music is built around fast paced riffs, raw intensity and lyrical themes inspired by war, chaos, dystopian worlds and survival.

The band released its debut recording, Bloodlust EP, in 2020. After refining its lineup and writing new material, Chaos Wasteland returned in 2024 with the singles Wasteland Kings and Hellraiders before issuing its first full length album, Chaos Wasteland, later that year. The record features tracks including Wreckmobile, Atomic Mush, Ripped & Sliced, Territorial Pissings, Control Downfall and Some Kind of Thrash, highlighting the band's evolving songwriting while remaining rooted in classic thrash metal traditions.

Since its formation, Chaos Wasteland has built its reputation as an independent force within Quebec's metal community. The band also appeared on the Québec Thrash Attack 2025 compilation with the track Some Kind of Thrash, reflecting its growing presence within the province's new generation of thrash metal artists.
