Corps fantômes is a gripping theatrical thriller that weaves a powerful narrative between past and present. The story begins when Marion receives a box of belongings from the father she never knew. Digging through the artifacts, she uncovers a hidden history, a forbidden love, and the mystery of a man named Francis.
The play transports the audience back to 1990 Montreal. While the clubs pulse with Madonna's Vogue, a darker reality looms: rampant homophobia and police brutality. Amidst this chaos, a dangerous romance blooms between a young artist and a police officer torn between duty and desire. Blending personal secrets with the collective fight for LGBTQIA2+ rights, this production honors a generation that fought for survival and dignity against all odds.
