Frog Eyes

Frog Eyes, the legendary indie rock band hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, invites you to an evening of unparalleled musical originality and intensity.

Formed in 2001 and centered around the unique vocals of Carey Mercer, Melanie Campbell's drumming, and Shyla Seller's keyboards, Frog Eyes has forged a distinctive sound that defies convention. Their music is a captivating fusion of experimental rock, art rock, and post-punk, characterized by Mercer's eccentric yet passionate vocal prowess, angular guitar arrangements, and unpredictable song structures.

Their complex, poetic, and often abstract lyrics create dense and dramatic soundscapes. After releasing critically acclaimed albums like "The Bloody Hand" (2002) and "Tears of the Valedictorian" (2007), which was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, the band made a notable return in 2021 after a brief hiatus, proving their continued artistic relevance. Their live performances are renowned for their visceral intensity and ability to captivate audiences.
