Hey Rosetta!

Hey Rosetta! is coming to a venue near you, bringing back its blend of indie rock, strings, and horns around the songs of Tim Baker.

The group brings together Tim Baker, Josh Ward, Adam Hogan, Phil Maloney, Romesh Thavanathan, Kinley Dowling, and Mara Pellerin. This seven-member lineup combines vocals, guitar, bass, and drums with violin, cello, keyboards, and horn arrangements, a signature that sets Hey Rosetta! apart in independent music.

The group's catalogue includes Plan Your Escape, Into Your Lungs (and Around in Your Heart and on Through Your Blood), Seeds, and Second Sight. These four albums trace the group's evolution. Into Your Lungs and Seeds were both shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Songs associated with the group include Welcome, Seeds, Red Heart, New Sum, Yer Spring, and Soft Offering.

After a hiatus, Hey Rosetta! has reunited with its complete Second Sight-era lineup. The return brings renewed attention to a catalogue that combines introspective lyrics, orchestral arrangements, and rock energy. Hey Rosetta! holds an important place in the recent history of indie rock.
