Julien Corriveau is coming near you with absurd humour, musical imagination, and versatility that have shaped several memorable Quebec projects.
Originally from Louiseville, Julien Corriveau is a comedian, actor, writer, screenwriter, composer, and musician. He holds a master’s degree in philosophy from the Université de Montréal and a certificate in film screenwriting from UQAM, a background that complements his interest in ideas, characters, and offbeat worlds.
He is best known as a founding member of Les Appendices, the comedy collective behind a sketch series that became a cult favourite with audiences. His work with the group allowed him to combine writing, acting, and music. He is part of the creative core of Club Soly as a writer, performer, script editor, and composer of music.
Julien Corriveau has contributed to projects including the Bye Bye, Entre deux draps, Cette année-là, and the Les Olivier galas. He has also written for Arnaud Soly, Fabien Cloutier, Cathy Gauthier, and Jean-Sébastien Girard. His instrumental album The Final Score explores a western soundtrack aesthetic, while his book Monsieur Mousteille, Motobiographie expands the world of one of his characters. His collaborative work has earned Olivier and Gémeaux awards.
