Lord Huron

Lord Huron is coming near you with an indie folk and indie rock world shaped by singer, songwriter and founder Ben Schneider.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2010, the American band builds songs where folk, rock, pop, western music and imagined narratives intersect. Its name was inspired by Lake Huron, which Schneider visited during his childhood in Michigan.

After the early EPs Into the Sun and Mighty, Lord Huron released its debut album Lonesome Dreams in 2012. Strange Trails, released in 2015, consolidated the band's identity and includes The Night We Met, which became one of its best-known songs after its use in the series 13 Reasons Why. The group continued with Vide Noir in 2018 and Long Lost in 2021, two albums that further develop its interest in characters, fictional worlds and vintage radio references. In 2025, Lord Huron added The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 to its discography. Other notable songs include Ends of the Earth, Fool for Love, Love Like Ghosts, Mine Forever and I Lied. Lord Huron holds a lasting place in American alternative music through distinctive storytelling and evocative soundscapes.
