MICO

MICO is coming near you with alternative pop that connects indie pop, pop punk, and rock.

Toronto singer-songwriter Jose Miguel Veloso began his career by sharing original music and covers on Discord and Twitch. That online community helped shape the emergence of his independent project and its direct universe, marked by guitar, catchy choruses, and lyrics about relationships and coming of age. MICO's trajectory has made him one of the young Canadian names to watch in alternative pop.

The song cut my hair became a radio breakthrough in Canada and led to a series of projects, including the EPs 21st century heartbreak, second thoughts, the tears we fight, the afterparty, and Internet hometown hero. His catalogue also includes HOMESICK, Deserve this, glhf<3, Idontwannaknowyou!, I'd hate to be my friend, Ever After with eaJ, Parasite with Haiden Henderson, and Without Me. MICO has also released TRIO and his debut album When the lights turn on, preceded by DREAMBOY, Like you mean it, and Do it all again. Nominated for the Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year, he also appears as Telemachus in EPIC: The Musical.
