Ricky Nelson Remembered

Ricky Nelson Remembered celebrates the legacy of Ricky Nelson with his twin sons, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson.

This family tribute traces the career of an artist who became one of America's first teen idols, first known through the television series The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet before establishing himself in rock and roll. Ricky Nelson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and left behind signature songs including Poor Little Fool, Hello Mary Lou, Travelin' Man, I'm Walkin' and Garden Party.

Matthew and Gunnar Nelson revisit this catalogue while adding their own musical history. As Nelson, the brothers achieved success with Love and Affection and After the Rain. Their group was also recognized by Guinness World Records for achieving number-one records across three successive generations of their family. Ricky Nelson Remembered connects Ricky Nelson's television and music career with that of his sons, highlighting the continuity of a family that has marked several eras of American popular culture. The project speaks to fans of classic rock and roll, 1950s and 1960s pop, and the continuing story of the Nelson family.
