Sidhu Moose Wala

Sidhu Moose Wala is celebrated through a worldwide tribute called Signed to God, a hologram show project that commemorates his catalogue and influence on Punjabi music.

Born Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu in the village of Moosa in Punjab, he developed an artistic identity that brought together rap, hip-hop and Punjabi popular music. His songs often addressed identity, cultural pride, social realities and rural life, allowing him to reach a wide audience in Punjab, throughout the diaspora and far beyond.

After beginning as a lyricist, Sidhu Moose Wala broke through with So High in 2017. He followed it with songs including Issa Jatt, Tochan, The Last Ride and 295. His debut album, PBX 1, arrived in 2018, followed by releases including Snitches Get Stitches in 2020 and Moosetape in 2021. The song 295, from Moosetape, charted on the Canadian Hot 100 and made Sidhu Moose Wala the first Punjabi artist to appear on the Billboard Global 200.

His catalogue continues to draw attention through releases such as Mera Na and Barota, adding new chapters to an already influential body of work.
