Subhumans

Subhumans, the legendary UK anarcho-punk band, invites you to an evening of raw intensity and intellectual rebellion.

Formed in 1979 in Warminster, England, the quartet led by the charismatic Dick Lucas quickly established itself as a cornerstone of the anarcho-punk movement, alongside bands like Crass. Their music is an explosive discharge of fast, aggressive punk rock, driven by biting lyrics that denounce consumerism, government control, war, and social injustice. Iconic albums like their masterpiece "The Day the Country Died" (1983) not only defined a genre but continue to inspire generations of artists with their power and depth.

After a brief hiatus in the '80s, Subhumans returned to the forefront, consistently touring and releasing new material, including the excellent "Crisis Point" (2019). Their live performances are legendary: contagious energy, uncompromising musicality, and a message that remains as relevant as ever.
