TALK is coming near you with a powerful voice and songs that turn vulnerability into soaring pop rock anthems.

TALK is the musical project of Nicholas Durocher, a Canadian singer-songwriter from the Ottawa area. After spending time as the bassist in a country band, he developed a solo identity built around alternative rock, melodic pop and emotionally direct songwriting.

Run Away to Mars introduced TALK to a global audience with its theme of loneliness, dramatic build and unforgettable chorus. Inspired in part by the film Interstellar, the song reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative chart. Fans can also connect with Afraid of the Dark, A Little Bit Happy and Wasteland, three songs that highlight the warmth, honesty and scale of his music.

His debut album, Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees, was executive produced by Justin Tranter and confirmed TALK’s ability to balance huge melodies with personal reflection. The album earned major Canadian recognition, while TALK received the JUNO Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. He also joined an all-star recording created in support of Kids Help Phone, adding a meaningful community initiative to his growing body of work.
