Vans Warped Tour

Vans Warped Tour is one of the most iconic punk, alternative rock and emo festivals of the past three decades, shaping entire youth cultures between 1995 and 2019. Founded by Kevin Lyman and supported by Vans, the festival welcomed legendary bands such as Blink 182, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Sum 41, The Used, Pierce The Veil, Black Veil Brides, Fall Out Boy and countless others. For many fans, it was the first place to discover rising artists who would later become global headliners. Warped Tour quickly became synonymous with summer energy, sweaty mosh pits, community spirit and musical exploration.

The Vans Warped Tour was known for its nomadic and inclusive setup. Stages moved from city to city, daily schedules were revealed on site and fans could meet artists for free at signing tents. This accessibility created a unique bond between audiences and bands. The lineup blended punk, emo, post hardcore, ska, pop punk, metalcore and alternative hip hop, creating a festival that reflected the full spectrum of alternative culture. Community organizations, workshops and interactive spaces added to the vibrant atmosphere that made each edition memorable.

Though the traditional touring festival no longer exists in its original form, its legacy remains strong. Its influence continues to shape nostalgia tours, emo revival festivals and alternative music scenes across North America.
