Pervers par accident

Pervers par accident is a sharp, sexy and irresistibly funny comedy that explores, with humour and vulnerability, the blurred lines of desire, shame and human contradiction. This Québec adaptation of Andrew Goffman’s New York hit, a phenomenon with more than 7,500 performances, follows the journey of a young man whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers, hidden in his father’s closet, a collection of old tapes… educational in their own unexpected way. That first illicit spark triggers a fascination that slowly evolves, over the years, into a genuine addiction.

Balancing fantasy and reality, awkwardness and honesty, the character opens up with disarming transparency about his obsessions, his romantic failures, and his struggle to find harmony between desire, affection and authentic connection. Performed by Tommy Joubert and directed by Tammy Verge, the show moves fluidly between explosive laughter, tender moments and brutally honest confession. It combines raw humour, sincerity, and a compelling vulnerability, a theatrical confession where the ridiculous becomes a touching mirror of our most intimate contradictions.

A bold, adults-only theatrical experience, hilarious, slightly naughty, surprisingly sensitive, and absolutely unforgettable. Experience Pervers par accident for yourself and dive into this unique one-man theatrical event, available now with Tickets.ca
