The Montreal Alouettes gave the Tiger-Cats a run for their money in Hamilton. The massacre, which was held before the Tiger-Cats supporters at the Ivor Wynne Stadium, resulted in a score of 42 to 8.
If Montreal Alouettes dominate the rankings, they certainly never appeared as large as this evening.
In the first half, Jamal Richardson and Adrian MacPherson respectively recorded a touchdown by a pass and on the ground. With two field kick goals from Damon Duval, Marc Trestman men’s retreated to the locker room with a comfortable lead of 21 to 0.
The offensive festivals did not end there. The Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo continued to be generous, joining Kerry Watkins for another touchdown in the third quarter.
Calvillo completed his evening's work with a record of 25 completed passes on 36 for a gain of 286 yards.
Avon Cobourne, added to his statistics a 164 yards gain by race and 46 by pass.
