Montreal Alouettes 33 vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers 14
Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal.

The Montreal Alouettes continue to impress by collecting victories. The victims, this time, were the Blue Bombers who lost 33-14 against the powerful Montreal machine.

After conceding the first touchdown of the game, the Montreal Alouettes started to take control of the game. The Blue Bombers were out of it and did not restore the situation.

Avon Cobourne added to the sheet 2 touchdowns, 80 rushing yards and 52 pass.

Ben Cahoon also caught 6 passes for 85 yards without a touchdown, while Jamal Richardson dominated adding 94 yards gain per pass.

It is however, thanks to Damon Duval that the Montreal Alouettes owes the majority of their points. The kicker of the Sparrows picked 19 of the 33 points of Aloeuttes, marking no less than 5 attempts and also scoring two singles.

The Blue Bombers defence have proven to be effective, minimizing the damage as much as possible. The trouble for the Winnipeg team is that the Alouettes were just relentless, limiting the Bombers gains to 162 total yards (against 460 for the Alouettes).

With more than 7 games remaining this season, the Montreal Alouettes therefore show an impressive record of 9 wins and 2 defeats.
