Aerosmith singer gave an update on his condition

Wednesday, August 26 2009 1:51PM
Steven Tyler, the lead singer of legendary rock band Aerosmith, gave update on his condition and the incredible bad luck surrounding the group's summer tour (which had to be cancelled) at a press conference call.

In early August, Steven Tyler fell from the stage during a concert in South Dakota. The scene, which was viewed many times by internet users via YouTube, has caused the cancellation of several concerts, and now finally, the remaining North American stadium tour that Aerosmith should have undertaken with ZZ Top.

This incident occurred just after some other health problems related to other group members which slowed the tour.

Rolling Stone reports that Steven Tyler is doing quite well, despite a broken shoulder. Besides, he wanted to put an end to rumours that he had resumed drinking and those who suggested that there is discord within the group.

The Aerosmith and ZZ Top concerts were to take place in Ottawa at Scotiabank Place, September 3, but had no scheduled date in Montreal. The group is still unclear whether the cancelled dates were only postponed.
