The revenge fight between the champion of the middle-weight of the IBF Lucian Bute and his opponent Librado Andrade will take place, 28 October 2008, at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City, November 28 2009.
Remember that it was the Golden Boy who won the bid to promote the fight.
The promoter of Andrade was planning to present the first match in Mexico in July, then changed his mind for Quebec on 28 November.
Even if the date was known, the precise location was not. Quebec and Montreal were still possibilities, but the Bell Center was busy for a match of the Montreal Canadiens for that date (although this date both repeatedly cited as rumors that the Canadiens game would take place in the Olympic Stadium) organizers had to turn to the Old Capital.
Strangely, this date coincides with the presentation of the Vanier Cup in Quebec City.
