After months of speculation it has finally been confirmed Guns’N’Roses will be stopping by Montreal on January 27th, 2010 to perform during their Chinese Democracy Tour. This will mark the return of Axl Rose’s band to Montreal since the infamous 1992 riot after their show in the city.
So far, thirteen concert dates have been confirmed for the tour. Just after announcing the band would be stopping by Montreal to perform, concert dates for Quebec City (at the Pepsi Coliseum) on February 1st, 2010 and Ottawa (at the Scotia Bank Place) on January 31st, 2010 were confirmed.
The only original member left of the group; Axl Rose is joined on stage by Dizzy Reed, Tommy Stinson, Chris Pitman, Richard Fortus, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Frank Ferrer and DJ Ashba.
