The Montreal Canadiens sure haven't been lucky lately. After Andrei Kostitsyn and Michael Cammalleri, it now appears that defenseman Marc-André Bergeron could be missing a few matches.
The exact length of Bergeron's absence is yet to be determined, but he will not play any of the Montreal Canadiens' two games this weekend.
Bergeron left the game, last night in Boston, in the middle of the third period. It appears to be a lower body injury.
Busy weekend for the Habs
The Habs, who are now sixth in the East Conference, have a busy weekend ahead. The Pittsburgh Penguins are coming to the Bell Centre on saturday afternoon, and then, the Boston Bruins will try to avenge last night's ninth consecutive loss as they battle the Canadiens once more on sunday pm.
Without saying that they might not take part of tomorrow's match, it should be noted that Tomas Plekanec, Benoit Pouliot and Sergei Kostitsyn were all absent at the team practice on friday.
