The fans of the Montreal Canadiens who will attend the Habs' first pre-season game on thursday night, at the Bell Centre, will be the first to witness firsthand the debut of new players Scott Gomez, Mike Cammalleri and Jaroslav Spacek.
According to PC, Gomez and Cammalleri will be paired up with Andrei Kostitsyn on the first line, just like they were in training camp. The second line will feature Maxim Lapierre, Guillaume Latendresse and Max Pacioretty, while a handful of young talents will fill up the other spots on the offensive roster.
Andrei Markov, Josh Gorges and Ryan O'Byrne will be the only three familiar faces on the blue line, while Jaroslav Spacek will wear the Habs jersey for the first time in a competitive game. The fans will also get to see up-and-coming star P.K. Subban for the first time in a professional environment.
Carey Price and Curtis Sanford will share the task in front of the net for this match opposing the Montreal Canadiens to new coach Jacques Martin's ex-team, the Florida Panthers.
