The details surrounding the finals of the first division between the USL opposing the Montreal Impactto and the Vancouver Whitecaps have been unveiled. The Whitecaps will host the first game of a back to back series at Swangard Stadium on October 10, while the second and final game of the finals will be held at the Saputo Stadium, Saturday, October 17th in the afternoon.
Remember that the Montreal Impact qualified in the USL Division for the first time since 2004 by defeating the Islanders of Puerto Rico with a combined mark 4-2, Sunday evening.
For their part, the Vancouver Whitecaps have defeated the Portland Timbers to join L'Impact in the final.
During the regular season, the Montreal Impact finished 5th in the First Division, while the Whitecaps barely qualified themselves at the seventh rank. The Impact won all three games opposing the two teams in 2009
