The Montreal Canadiens’ 2009-10 season calendar is now available. Habs fans can now plan which tickets they will go after for the 41 home games at the Bell Centre, or the 41 on the road by referring to this schedule.
The 2009-10 will start on October 1st, 2009, in Toronto, as the many faces of the Habs will try to make a good first impression by measuring up to the Toronto Maple Leafs and former Habs Mike Komisarek. This first of many Toronto vs Montreal match will take place at the Air Canada Centre.
A match at the Olympic Stadium?
We still don't know wether or not the rumored Habs game at the Olympic Stadium will actually take place there. The date certain sources advanced, November 28th, for a game opposing the Habs to Alexander Ovechkin's Washington Capitals does match the Habs calendar. A match, set to happen in Montreal, is indeed planned between these two teams on that date. The actual venue is yet to be determined, however.
