The group Placebo announced today on its official website that they are canceling their North American tour, which includes their performance at Metropolis in Montreal, scheduled for 7 October.
This cancellation is due to massive health problems of singer Brian Molko, who collapsed on stage during a performance at the Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka, Japan.
The entry on the website does not specify the nature of the virus, but doctors ordered the singer to rest for at least 6 weeks, forcing the cancellation of the tour.
