The Rogers Cup, contested this week at Uniprix Stadium in Montreal, has been a success for his 30th birthday. No less than 200,077 tickets were sold for two programs offered during this week of tennis.
This is a record for the Rogers Cup, but also for the tennis world. Never before has a tennis event held over a week was able to cross the milestone of 200,000 spectators.
It must be said that the Canadian open received a hot but generally pleasant temperature, and also the presence of 19 of the 20 best players in the world. Indeed, the quarter-final between the top 8 players in the ATP ranking, again a first in history of ATP.
