The Montreal Canadians have cut all ties with young forward Matt D'Agostini. The 23 year-old winger will be playing for the St. Louis Blues from now on.
The Habs get an even younger player in return: a 20 year-old forward by the name of Aaron Palushaj.
Sixth-round draft pick in 2005, Matt D'Agostini had the club thinking he could become a useful 3rd or 4th line player. His performances this year have been subpar to say the least: only 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) in 40 matches.
Aaron Palushaj has no NHL experience on his resume. At only 20 years old, Palushaj will be joining the Hamilton Bulldogs.
